Nokia 6300 anti-virus
In short: You don’t need it. On your phone, that is.
The s40 system our beloved phone runs on is not susceptible to viruses. Some of the other Nokia phones which run Symbian, a true Operating System, can be hit by viruses. But not s40 phones.
The Nokia 6300, and other s40 phones, can be a healthy bearer of viruses, though. If you upload an already infected file to the phone and pass that file on to other computers, they might get infected as well.
Most of you who have found this site probably found it while searching for an iSync plugin, so a good guess is that you have a Mac. Lucky for you because then you won’t need anti virus on your mac as well. But if you are into that whole Windows thingy, all bets are off.
To sum it all up:
If you have a Nokia 6300 and a Mac, you don’t need an anti virus program.
If you have a Windows PC, get some anti virus on your PC.

It is not true a person would not need a anti-virus program on their Mac computer. Mac virus writing is the fastest growing black-hat sector out there. As long as a Mac was unpopular and uncommon it was safe. Now it uses intel chips and a linux origin OS and is becoming quite popular. The viruses will come, and in larger and larger quantity.
People have been saying that for as long as I have been using Macs. I don’t believe true viruses will be a danger just yet.
